Find out what you need to do to get your tree picked up.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Get a real Christmas tree this year? Be sure to leave it on your curb next week.

Christmas tree pickup begins Jan. 10 and will continue through Jan. 15, on your regularly scheduled pickup day.

The city asks that residents leave trees in a visible spot on the street or along the sidewalk. If workers don't see your tree, they might not be able to come back for it.

Be sure to remove lights, decorations, tree stands and leave your tree unwrapped. If it's taller than four feet, cut it in half, the city said.

Flocked trees can either be cut to fit in a garbage bin or disposed of at the Waste & Recycling Drop-Off Center (320 Harvest Dr.).
