Watsonville Police Set Date For National Night Out

Police are working to compile a list of participating neighborhoods ahead of the 38th annual National Night Out.

WATSONVILLE, CA — The Watsonville Police Department announced that the 38th annual National Night Out will be held Tuesday, Oct. 5.

The department said it is currently working to compile a list of participating neighborhoods and will share those details with the public when possible.

National Night Out events are held across the country and seek to foster the relationship between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.

"Traditionally, neighborhoods and organizations host block parties, festivals, cookouts, and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, and youth events," police said.
