Watsonville’s Teen Challenge Monterey Bay Awarded $6k Grant
The organization was honored for its efforts in helping teens suffering from addiction and other life-controlling issues.
WATSONVILLE, CA —Teen Challenge Monterey Bay in Watsonville was awarded a $6,000 grant from The American Land Title Association Good Deeds Foundation, an organization that supports charitable nonprofits.
The nonprofit was nominated because of its efforts to help teens suffering from addiction and other life-controlling issues, the foundation said.
“The Board of the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation was excited to review more than 70 applications from ALTA members nominating organizations that have made a significant impact on their communities,” Mary O’Donnell, Foundation Board Chair, said.

Teen Challenge Monterey Bay is one of 21 nonprofits across the country to receive a grant from the foundation.
“Our organization will use this grant to help men, women and children with life-controlling problems cope with their problems and receive the help they deserve,” Executive Director Mike Borden said.
