Watsonville Shooting Victim Taken To Trauma Center

BREAKING: Police said the victim's family said he was unloading items from his car in the driveway before the shooting occurred.

WATSONVILLE, CA — A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot Tuesday night at his home in Watsonville, police said. At 9:45 p.m., police officers were dispatched to a shooting that occurred on Evelyn Avenue.

When officers arrived they found the 32-year-old victim lying in the driveway of his residence. He was unresponsive and suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was transported by an air
ambulance to a trauma center, police said.

According to police, the victim's family said he was unloading items from his car in the driveway before the shooting occurred. Officers canvassed the neighborhood, but were unable to locate any suspects or witnesses to the shooting.
