1 Hospitalized After Arvada Shooting
Arvada police are investigating a shooting on West 84th Way.
ARVADA, CO — A person was injured in a shooting Sunday near Lake Arbor in Arvada, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 7200 block of West 84th Way.
"Possibly 2 suspects involved, police have multiple witnesses," the Arvada Police Department said in a tweet posted at 6:52 p.m. Sunday.

As of Monday morning, investigators were still working on the case, police said. The department had not announced any arrests.

The condition of the person who was shot was not known.
"When the investigation yields more information we will release updates," Arvada police said in a tweet posted just after 7 a.m. on Monday. "Investigators working on the case through the morning."
As of Monday afternoon, no updates were released, but police said they "have no reason to believe that there is a continued concern from this incident."
"As crime increases in the metro area, be even more vigilant and aware of your surroundings. Also take steps to protect your property, like parking your car in your garage at night."
