Arvada City Offices Close Early for Blizzard
Arvada city offices and services have closed due to "bomb cyclone" blizzard March 13.
ARVADA, CO – The City of Arvada announced that the city offices and services will be closed Wednesday afternoon due to "inclement weather."
Residents were urged to stay home and avoid travel if possible.
"With heavy blowing snow forecasted, residents and visitors are encouraged to avoid traveling and the hazardous conditions. If traveling during a snow event, the community is reminded to give snow plows a wide berth," a statement from the city said Wednesday.

As a weather blizzard pattern known as a "bomb cyclone" hit the Front Range, JeffCo schools were also closed Wednesday. Flights were cancelled and delayed at Denver International Airport.
