'Grid Search' Planned For Man Missing Since February
Volunteers will search Sunday for a man who disappeared Feb. 2 after his truck crashed near Tiny Town.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO – Parents and friends of a man who disappeared after his truck crashed near Tiny Town in Jefferson County will conduct a "grid search" on Sunday, April 14 near the area when the accident took place.
Jacob Paddock-Weeks, in his 20s, was last seen on Feb. 2, after his white Dodge Ram crashed into a guard rail on Highway 285 near Indian Hills. Witnesses saw "Jake" get out of his truck and run into the woods. His parents, George and Amanda Weeks of Arvada said their son's wallet and phone were left behind.
"It’s just been real painful," George Weeks told Fox31 about two weeks after the crash. "You're scared, you're mad, you don’t know what to think."

"It's horrible. You don't know if he's OK or not," Amanda Weeks said.
In spite of canine search teams combing the area, there was no trace of their son, the Weeks said. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the car, Fox31 reported. The Weeks family said a broken tie-rod on the truck appeared to be the cause of the accident.

By the end of last week, about 55 people had volunteered online to help family members search the area where Jacob disappeared. Volunteers will be meeting at 10:30 am at the 285 and Twin Peaks Park and Ride Parking Lot in Morrison. Searchers plan to map out a grid using a GPS app and make a sweep of the area where Jacob was last seen.
