Hackberry Elementary Lockout Lifted After Arrest Warrant Issued
Police were in the area Wednesday for a high-risk arrest warrant, officials said.
ARVADA, CO — An elementary school in Arvada was placed under lockout Wednesday afternoon as officers conducted a "high-risk arrest warrant service," Arvada police said.
Hackberry Hill Elementary School, at 770 Saulsbury St., was placed under lockout as a "security precaution," officials said. The lockout was issued around 2 p.m. and lifted around 2:45 p.m.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was conducting the arrest warrant.

"[There is] no outstanding community concern at this time," the Arvada Police Department said in a tweet posted during the lockout.
No details about the warrant were released.

A school resource officer was at the elementary school to help with the lockout, police said.
