Jefferson County Board Of Health Appoints Interim Leadership Team
While beginning to search for a new executive director, JCPH has designated a team to lead the board.

ARVADA, CO — After the resignation of executive director Dr. Dawn Comstock on Feb. 8, the Jefferson County Board of Health has appointed an interim senior leadership team to direct the organization while it searches for a new executive director.
This team is made up of longtime leaders and directors at JCPH, officials said in a news release. And, in accordance with state law that requires a medical director to be on staff at all times, Dr. Sarah Rowan will continue serving in that role.
In the meantime, the Board is moving through the process of recruiting and hiring a new executive director "very thoughtfully," in order to ensure stability for the county, the release said.
