More Shops Announced For New Thornton Outlet Mall

THORNTON, CO – More shops were announced last week for the new outlet mega-mall opening at the end of September at I-25 and 136th Avenue in Thornton.

Denver Premium Outlets announced the following new tenants:

• bare + BEAUTY
• Crocs
• Famous Footwear Outlet
• Janie and Jack
• Kay Jewelers Outlet
• New Balance Factory Store
• The Luggage Factory
• True Religion Outlet
• TUMI

The new 330,000 square-foot complex will host special grand opening events on Thursday, Sep. 27 through Sunday, Sep. 30. The mall, and many of the stores, are still looking for 500 new employees. A job fair in mid-August drew a lackluster crowd, according to the Denver Post.

Indiana-based mall developers Simon say the LEED-certified complex will feature public spaces "designed to be a community hub for the area, offering scenic grassy spaces to relax or picnic, architectural shade structures with comfortable soft seating arrangements, water features, a fireplace for chilly evenings and an interactive play experience for children."
