Olde Town Arvada Bar Raises Funds For Beesley, Hurley Families

ARVADA, CO — A popular lounge in Olde Town Arvada has launched a silent auction fundraiser to support the families of Arvada police officer Gordon Beesley and Samaritan Johnny Hurley, who lost their lives in the deadly shooting.

The Bluegrass Coffee and Bourbon Lounge is hosting the Tribute to Fallen Heroes auction, which includes hundreds of donated items.

"We hope to raise as much money as possible for the families of our fallen heroes," the Bluegrass lounge said in a Facebook post.

"A HUGE thank you to ALL who have donated and continue to donate to this auction!"

The auction includes items such as high-end whiskey, golf packages, vacations and personal chef meals. All funds raised will go to the Hurley family's GoFundMe page and the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation's fundraiser for the Beesley family.
