Action Center Frontline Heroes - Kory Kolar, Stephanie Johnson, Matt Cassa, Erin Pless, Laurie Walowitz, Carolyn Alexander, Barbara Penning, Kerri Stroupe, Kyle Philleo, Jane Wolfe, Max Hammond
Are the nominees considered “essential workers”?:
Yes
What do the nominees do for work?:
They have been providing free groceries to those who need them.
Why do you believe the nominees should be recognized or honored?
This group of dedicated individuals have been on the front lines at the Action Center in rain, sleet, snow, and sun to provide food to those who need it most during the COVID-19 Pandemic. They have self-lessly put themselves in a direct line of fire - while wearing PPE and practicing social distancing - so that the members in our community who need food, rental, and utility assistance the most are still able to receive it in these uncertain times. They have been pillars of strength and deserve to be recognized for each of their efforts.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your heroes?:
They are truly an incredible group of people who work so hard to help others.
Thank you for all you do, Kory, Stephanie, Matt, Erin, Laurie, Carolyn, Barbara, Kerri, Kyle, Jane and Max!
