Red Rocks Community College Arvada Fall 2018 Semester Begins

ARVADA, CO – Good news for procrastinators: It's not too late to register for classes at Red Rocks Community College. The fall 2018 semester begins Aug. 20 with on-campus credit classes at the Lakewood and Arvada campuses. Weekend classes start Aug. 17.

Both campuses will host extended hours on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m - noon. or any "last minute business" for fall semester.

Red Rocks offers classes for students who want to transfer to four-year colleges or universities by earning associate degrees through the AA/AS General Education Transfer Program. The school offers certification and training programs in Health Careers, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Computer Technology, Fire Science, Law Enforcement and others.

Courses are offered in different formats to accommodate students' needs. These flexible learning options include evening, off-campus, one-day-a-week, online, short-term, and weekend classes.

The average cost of a 12-hour full-time semester for in-state students is $1.786.80 (plus fees), and the school has a significant financial aid program.

A complete list of credit and noncredit classes can be found in the fall 2018 class schedule or online on the college website. Registration is ongoing. In-state tuition (student share) is $148.90 per credit hour plus fees and books. New or returning students should speak to an RRCC Advisor to help you plan your schedule, the college recommends.

The two campuses are located at 13300 W 6th Ave. in Lakewood and 10280 W 55th Ave. in Arvada.
