Student Brings Gun To Arvada High School: Police
An Arvada student faces charges after they brought a gun to school, Arvada police said.
ARVADA, CO — A student was arrested Tuesday after they brought a pistol to Arvada High School, police said.
The Arvada Police Department was contacted around 10 a.m. after a report that the student had a gun at the school, at 7951 W 65th Ave, police said.
School resource officers then found and arrested the student.

The pistol was confiscated, and the student was taken to a juvenile detention center, according to police.
The student faces several charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon on school grounds and being a juvenile in possession of a handgun, police said.

Arvada High School was "on hold" while the student was taken into custody, police said.
