Threats To 'Kill All The Girls' Followed Man's CO Stalking Cases
Denver's Christopher Wayne Cleary, arrested in Utah for threatening a mass shooting, was on probation for multiple CO stalking convictions.

DENVER, CO – Christopher Wayne Cleary, 27, in custody and facing terrorism charges in Provo, Utah after posting that he wanted to die and "kill as many girls as I see" on Facebook, has a history in Colorado of stalking and terrorizing women, some as young as 17 years old, records show.
Cleary claimed on Facebook that he was a 27-year-old virgin, but one of the women who filed charges against him in Jefferson County said she had sexual relations with him. Others said he threatened and stalked them and posted fake ads on social media claiming they were prostitutes, the Denver Post reported.
Cleary was on probation for two separate felony domestic violence convictions when law enforcement authorities and the FBI on Sunday traced his phone to a Provo McDonalds restaurant in Provo as the Provo Women's March was happening.

Cleary had posted a threat claiming he would "be the next mass shooter cause I’m ready to die."
All I wanted was a girlfriend, not 1000 … not a bunch of hoes … I’ve never had a girlfriend before and I’m still a virgin, this is why I’m planning on shooting up a public place soon and being the next mass shooter cause I’m ready to die and all the girls the turned me down is going to make it right by killing as many girls as I see.”
An earlier Facebook post said, “There’s nothing more dangerous than man ready to die,” the Denver Post reported.

Cleary had rented an AirBNB on Friday in Provo. He told police he had posted the threats on Facebook “but claimed to be upset and not thinking clearly when he did so,” a police affidavit cited by the Denver Post said.
The Post reported that Cleary had been convicted of stalking an 18-year-old girl in Arvada in 2015 calling and threatening her and posting messages such as “I’ve been watching you. Soon here, you’ll be lying in your deathbed.” Arvada police found three other complaints against Cleary for stalking, threatening and harassing women.
In a Denver case, Cleary allegedly threatened online a 17-year-old girl who would not date him, the Post reported. “I own multipul (sic) guns I can have u dead in a second … One day ima snap and kill everyone,” he wrote, according to an arrest affidavit.
Less than a year after being sentenced to probation and close supervision in mental health court, Cleary was arrested and charged with threatening and stalking a 43-year-old Lakewood woman in 2017. According to the Post, Cleary had "been her boyfriend and they had sexual relations" but began stalking her after they broke up. He was arrested after months of harassment including calling her 45 times in one day and telling her “I hope you die,” “I am going to kill you,” “I am going to burn your house down,” and “I am going to send people to your house to kill you,” the Post reported. Cleary also posted her phone number and address on Craigslist with fake pictures “soliciting sexual acts and rape,” according to the probable statement, as reported by the Denver Post.
After a guilty plea for felony stalking and making threats, a Jefferson County judge sentenced him to three years of probation on May 18, the Post reported.
