Grab a Paddle! Come Play at the New Ace Pickleball Club in Aurora

Ace Pickleball Club (APC), a rapidly expanding national pickleball franchise with a community-based approach, recently opened its first Colorado Club in Aurora at 6626 S Parker Rd. The location will bring together community and competition to cater to the growing demand for pickleball locally.

Ace Pickleball Club Aurora is led by husband-and-wife team Liz and Michael Tanji, who first met while serving in the U.S. Army. The Aurora club will mark their second location, building on the success of their first in Omaha, Nebraska, which opened in May. After completing their military service, Liz Tanji transitioned into a career in accounting while Michael Tanji pursued opportunities in cybersecurity.

The Tanjis’ decision to partner with Ace Pickleball Club came from a shared passion for the game and their respect for the brand’s leadership and forward-thinking vision. They were drawn to APC’s mission of creating a space entirely devoted to pickleball where players of all levels can feel welcome, whether they are seasoned competitors or brand-new to the sport.

Recognizing the rapid growth of pickleball, the shortage of public courts, and the challenges of playing outdoors in cold weather, the Tanjis felt Aurora was the perfect place to introduce a dedicated facility. They often hear from community members who want to learn the sport but are unsure of where to begin, which is why APC’s Pickleball 101 classes stood out as such an important offering. These beginner-friendly sessions give newcomers the confidence and foundation they need to enjoy the game.

“Pickleball really is a sport for everyone, and we’re so excited to share it with the Aurora community,” said Liz Tanji. “From first-time players to those looking to refine their game, Ace Pickleball Club offers a place to learn, grow and connect while having fun.”

APC offers Members hassle-free flexibility through a single monthly membership that allows for unlimited, all-day play on professional-grade courts. The state-of-the-art facilities offer climate-controlled conditions and designated courts for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players, making it optimal for all skill levels and ages.

At APC, Members become part of a fun and inclusive community filled with unlimited open play, clinics, Club-coordinated tournaments, social events, and court and ball machine reservations. With unlimited paddle demos included – that change quarterly – Members can test out the newest technology from a variety of brands to find their favorite. New to pickleball? Ace Pickleball Club – Aurora will be offering free introductory clinics designed to walk newcomers through the rules of the sport and help them feel more comfortable on the court. In addition to the Intro to Pickleball program, the brand recently launched a Starter Series that includes eight sessions of instruction and guided play. Whether it’s the calorie burn of a competitive match, or a lighthearted game with friends, APC has something for everyone.
