"I'm not the type to celebrate wins too often, but this one I'm kind of proud of," Rosenkjer said. "Somehow after 16 years of flying I managed to be selected and go represent the US in the paragliding world championship in two weeks."
The last World Cup took place in Nov. 2019 in Loma Bola before the coronavirus pandemic.

Since then, Rosenkjer and his team have flown countless hours and spent many weeks and dollars attending qualifying competitions in their bid to represent the USA at the World Championship.
However, in order for them to make the exciting journey to the competition, Rosenkjer and his team is seeking donations to fund the trip.
The team has already raised nearly $7,000 on GoFundMe but is well short of the $30,000 they need to compete in Argentina.
