Ozone Alert Day Friday, Warm Weekend: Boulder Weather

BOULDER, CO – Smoke from out-of-state wildfires has increased the fine particulates and ozone levels in the air today in Boulder and along the Front Range, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said. Until 4 p.m. Friday, an Ozone Day Alert has been issued by the Regional Air Quality Council.

Those with respiratory issues or sensitivity are advised to stay indoors.

Areas of smoke. Sunny, with a high near 87. West southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.

Areas of smoke. Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming west after midnight.

A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
