Park Assessments Begin Saturday (bouldercounty.gov) — Boulder County rangers will begin assessing closed open space areas west of Highway 36 on Saturday, reopening parks when they appear safe from parking areas, though Heil Valley Ranch will remain closed due to Cal-Wood Fire damage. Trail users should expect downed trees, use extreme caution, and report hazards with photos and exact locations as the short-staffed team works through the holidays.
