Windy And Warm; Thunderstorms Ahead: Boulder Weather
Look for warm summer temps this week with high winds Monday creating high fire danger. Thunderstorms expected Tuesday night.
BOULDER, CO – Boulder's weather will be hot and summery this week with temperatures in the 80s and low 90s. Monday, expect a blustery day with gusty southwest winds up to 30 mph on the plains during the afternoon. The gusty winds, very warm temperatures and low relative humidity will combine with the dry vegetation to create high fire danger, the National Weather Service said.
Monday night, a cold front is expected to pass through the area bringing noticeably cooler temperatures and gusty northerly winds to the area on Tuesday, NWS said. It will be mostly cloudy with some light
rain showers developing in and near the Front Range and across the northeast plains late Tuesday afternoon and evening. Dry and warmer weather will then return for the remainder of the week.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Breezy, with a west wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 54. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 7 to 16 mph becoming north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a chance of showers between 9pm and midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
