• Vacancy committee selects state representative to serve out Sen. Faith Winter's term (durangoherald.com) — A Broomfield resident, state Rep. William Lindstedt, has been chosen to fill the late Sen. Faith Winter’s seat representing a district that includes parts of Broomfield, Northglenn and Westminster. Lindstedt, already running for the seat in 2026, says he’ll focus on environmental protection, K-12 funding and Medicaid access as he heads into the upcoming legislative session.
