Colorado Air Force Academy Cadet Dies After Skateboard Accident
Ryong Adams was a freshman at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — A freshman cadet at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs died Tuesday after a skateboarding accident.
Cadet 4th Class Ryong Adams, 23, from Adams, Tennessee, had been hospitalized with severe injuries since April 23 following his accident, according to a news release from the Academy.
"With heavy hearts, we share the loss of C4C Ryong Adams who died after suffering a head injury in a skateboarding accident," the Air Force Academy tweeted.

Adams served in the Air Force before being accepted into the Academy and attended its prep school before becoming a cadet, according to the Academy.
"Ryong was a dedicated cadet and served our nation as an enlisted Airman before his arrival at our Preparatory School," Air Force Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Richard Clark said in a statement. "He worked hard to join the cadet wing, and he will be dearly missed."
