Baby Kidnapped After Dad Leaves Her In Truck In Colorado Springs
Police officers are asking the public for help in finding a pickup truck used in a kidnapping.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- A baby was kidnapped Monday after her father left her in a pickup truck that was then stolen.
The kidnapping, which happened on the 3500 block of North Carefree Circle, happened around 11 a.m., according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Authorities said the father left his daughter in the truck with the engine on to enter a business. When the father returned to his truck, it was gone.

About 20 minutes later, authorities found the baby in her car seat next to a dumpster on North Academy Boulevard. The child was unharmed and reunited with her father.
The pickup truck, which is a 2007 grey Dodge with the license plate OJL030, is still missing.
