Suspect tased, accused of attacking Colorado Springs police officer during fight (kktv.com) — Early Saturday in downtown Colorado Springs, police say a fight on North Tejon Street led to an officer being punched in the head and a suspect tased and arrested. The officer and suspect both had minor injuries, and the man was later booked into El Paso County Jail after hospital evaluation. 
2. Alleged burglars assault security guard with bats, tools (krdo.com) — Colorado Springs police say a security guard was seriously injured Saturday morning after confronting people trying to enter a condemned, fire-damaged apartment complex on East Pikes Peak Avenue near South Academy. Officers report the suspects allegedly used bats and tools in the assault, and two people were taken into custody while investigators continue looking into what happened.
