2017 Denver Homicide: Police Ask For Help
Denver Police say they are stumped in the case of the 2017 homicide of Daniel Delgado, 28, near a Denver gas station.

DENVER, CO – Denver police are asking for the public's help to solve a 2017 fatal shooting in Denver's Curtis Park neighborhood. On Wednesday, July 19, 2017, around 3:35 a.m., Denver officers responding to reports of shots fired discovered 28-year-old Daniel Delgado on the grass in front of the gas station at 3550 Downing St. suffering from a gunshot wound. Delgado was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Danny was an amazing father to four beautiful children, a beloved son, brother, and friend," his sister Janet Garcia-Chavez, of Littleton, posted on a GoFundMe site last year to raise money for funeral expenses.
"After more than a year of thorough investigation, this case remains open," Denver police said in a statement.
