3 Injured, Including Thornton Police Officer, In Crash
A police chase ended in a two-car crash on 104th Avenue, police said.
ADAMS COUNTY, CO — Three people, including a Thornton police officer, were injured in a crash Tuesday morning on 104th Avenue after a pursuit, police said.
"This incident began with a pursuit by Brighton PD who asked for help from Thornton PD," the Thorton Police Department said in a tweet.
"As units arrived in the area, the pursuit was terminated. Shortly thereafter the suspect vehicle struck a Thornton officer’s patrol car."

A man, a woman and the officer were hospitalized after the two-car crash, according to the Thornton Police Department.
Both lanes of 104th Avenue were closed between Lower Clear Creek Canal and McKay Road while an investigation was underway, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.
