Arrest Made In LoDo Shooting That Injured 3: Denver Police
Armando Durete, 35, faces attempted first-degree murder and assault charges.

DENVER, CO – Denver police arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with a shooting that injured three people in Lower Downtown Denver early Sunday morning.
Armando Durete, was taken into custody Sunday, police said. He's facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and assault. More details on the arrest are unclear, because the arrest affidavit is sealed. Police were not releasing Durete's photo because the investigation is still ongoing, they said.
The shooting happened around 2:25 a.m. near 15th and Market Streets. A woman and two men were taken to a hospital, with two of the victims having non-life threatening injuries. One person was seriously injured, but police didn't specify whom.

"All of a sudden, we heard probably 30 shots or so break out," Pierce McKenna, an employee of Oskar Blues, told KDVR. "We looked down Market Street and saw everybody running and screaming.
"We walked toward 16th just to see if we could help somebody, and as soon as we got here we saw a woman who was shot through her stomach, and she was just kind of walking toward this parking lot with her boyfriend holding her."
