- Armed thieves hitting homes to steal cars in metro area. Police say warn of a series of vehicle and garage burglaries in Douglas County. Suspects are exploiting unlocked cars and then using garage door openers to access garages. (U.S. News)

- Casa Bonita's grand opening will require tickets, here's how to get your hands on some. Casa Bonita, the beloved family restaurant, will open with limited dinner hours during its beta-testing phase. Only those on the email list will have a chance to dine, with tickets available for purchase. The restaurant will gradually expand its operations before opening full-time, but specific dates and times are yet to be disclosed.x. (Mile High on the Cheap)
- Gas prices are dollar cheaper than they were last year. Colorado and the Denver metro area witnessed record-breaking gasoline prices. With an average price of $4.927 per gallon across all grades, it soared nearly 150 percent compared to the previous year and exceeded the highest record from summer 2008 by almost a dollar. (KDVR)
