      1. Walmart is pulling some lots of Parent's Choice Rice Baby Cereal from its shelves in Denver and elsewhere after the baby food tested above Food and Drug Administration recommended levels for naturally occurring arsenic. (Denver Patch)
      2. One person died, and three others — including a baby — were hospitalized after a domestic violence-related shooting in Denver, police said. (Fox 31)
      3. Southwest Airlines canceled several hundred more flights Monday, including some departing from and arriving at Denver International Airport, after a weekend of disruptions the airline blamed on bad weather and air traffic control issues. The airline and its pilots union denied reports of a sickout to protest mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations, The Associated Press reported. (Denver Patch)

      5. A 4-year-old bull elk is certainly breathing easier after wildlife officials cut free a car tire stuck around its neck for at least two years. The 600-pound bull was spotted Saturday around 8 p.m. on private property off County Road 126, about 1 mile south of Pine Junction. (Littleton Patch)
