Captured On Video: Denver Cops Seek Hoodie-Wearing Robber

A spree of armed robberies of Metro-Denver businesses have been committed by the same man in a hoodie, law enforcement officials say.

DENVER, CO – The same young man in a hoodie appears to have robbed three area convenience stores –after displaying a weapon – within one week, Denver police said.

Police released video surveillance images from armed three robberies in Denver and Adams County Thursday, saying the hoodie-wearing robber had struck three times between Aug. 16-23. The most recent incident was an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven around 2:30 a.m. Aug. 23 in the first block of West Alameda Avenue in Denver.

The robber was described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, approximately 5’08” tall, weighing 160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a yellow design on the front and white shoes.

He may be associated with a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Police are offering a $2,000 reward for information through the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers program. Tipsters can call (720) 913-7867 - (720) 913-STOP to anonymously give information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person pictured.
