- Denver collaborates with Project 529 to combat bike thefts. Denver's bike thefts are a serious problem, and now bicycle owners can register their bikes this week and receive a complimentary tamper-resistant decal with a unique ID to protect their bikes at numerous Bike To Work stations today. - Rad Power Bikes dominating Denver's E-Bike rebate sales, triggering frustration among local shops. Rad Power Bikes, a direct-to-consumer retailer, emerged as the top recipient of Denver's e-bike rebates, securing 44 percent of Denver's individual vouchers and over half of the total rebate amount. The company's significant presence may have contributed to widespread resident participation but has left local shop owners questioning the program's original intent. (CPR)
