- Suncor shutting down one of three plants for $100 million maintenance project at Commerce City refinery. According to the company, Plant 2 will undergo scheduled preventive maintenance and will be completely shut down. Suncor will allocate more than $100 million towards this effort, while Plants 1 and 3 at the Commerce City refinery will remain operational. (Reuters)
- Federal Boulevard continues to be the deadliest street in Denver. The Denver Police Department (DPD) reported that on Sunday night a vehicle struck and killed a woman on Federal Boulevard. The incident took place near the intersection of Federal and West 14th Avenue, located just south of the junction with West Colfax Avenue. (9News)
- Starbucks tests reusable cups at drive-thru stores in Colorado. Starbucks revealed that it would be conducting tests in hundreds of stores across the state. The coffee chain stated that this initiative is a step towards becoming "resource positive." As part of the program, drive-thru customers can order their usual drinks and inform the barista that they have brought their personal cups. (FOX 31)
- National yoga company plans to sublease its RiNo HQ Denver. CorePower Yoga, the country's biggest yoga company, intends to sell office space in its Denver headquarters. The company confirmed that it plans to sublease about 30,000 square feet at Industry Denver, situated at 3001 Brighton Blvd. (Subscription/Business Journal)
