Denver Airport Murals Poke Fun At Conspiracy Theories

Lizard people, aliens, and a blue stallion from Hades with flaming red eyes are all evoked in construction murals at DIA.

DENVER, CO – Travelers through Denver International Airport are now privy to the secrets of the Illuminati ... or not ... on temporary construction murals that poke gentle fun at conspiracy theories that have swirled around DIA for years.

After all, passengers know something is odd as they first view the strange pointy white peaks over DIA's terminals -- why are those even there? Then there's the big blue plastic stallion, or Bluecifer, rearing, high as a house with those blazing red lightbulb eyes.

Before you even arrive at the airport, the odd electronic media sign on Pena Avenue – with LED panels already burned out – is a head-scratcher. Even more so when you find out it cost $14.5 million.

Then there are the apocalyptic 28-foot murals that are said to be a warning from the Trilateral Commission about the state of civilization-to-come. Or something.

A new webpage, the DENfiles, addresses some of the most elaborate, and far-stretching theories. These include "a time capsule that also has a Masonic square, a compass symbol, and an inscription that gives the time capsule’s contents to the 'people of Colorado in 2094'–all symbols of Freemasonry, and yes, the Illuminati," the site says. "In case that isn’t enough, the date of the airport’s dedication is March 19, 1994. And if you add those numbers together (1+9+1+9+9+4), you get 33–the highest level one can achieve in Freemasonry, aka perfection."

"In addition to the Illuminati HQ, it is rumored there are several underground baggage tunnels just waiting to house the world’s elite when the world comes to an end. Lizard people (aka “Reptoids”) and evidence of aliens are also thought to be down there (apparently they’ve been drawing on the walls). Silly aliens, stop with your graffiti."
