Denver Police Investigating Multiple Nighttime Shootings
Two people were taken to hospitals with serious gunshot injuries in Five Points and south-Central Denver overnight Thursday.

DENVER, CO – Denver police responded to multiple shootings Thursday night.
Around 8:20 p.m., officers tweeted they were investigating a shooting in the 2300 block of Welton Street in the Five Points neighborhood. An unspecified victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Around 9:10 p.m., police said another shooting took place in south-Central Denver near West 1st Avenue and Bannock Street. Another wounded person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

No suspect information for either shooting was immediately available Thursday night.
