Drive-Thru Liquor-Store Carjackers: Denver Police Seek Trio

Two men and a woman are sought in connection with a carjacking at a drive-through liquor store in west Denver.

DENVER, CO – Two men and a woman were caught on video surveillance cameras in a Denver liquor store where a carjacking occurred the evening of Aug. 18, Denver police said.

Police are offering $2,000 to tipsters with information about the trio in connection with the incident that happened in the 3000 block of West Alameda Avenue around 7:25 p.m.

A male driver reported a carjacking at Bungalow Liquors. The three people allegedly involved are described by Denver police as follows:

  • Hispanic female, 25-35 years-old, long blond hair, short height, heavy build, grey shirt, blue jeans and red shoes
  • Hispanic male, 30-40 years-old, short dark hair, short height, medium build, white tank top, khaki shorts and white shoes.
  • Hispanic male, 25-35 years-old, medium height and build,170lbs, short dark hair, Cincinnati Reds ‘Larkin #11’ jersey, blue jeans.

The liquor store is famed for its drive through window. Police did not say whether the car was stolen while using the drive-through.

Anyone with information leading to the arrest or conviction of these three persons should call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867 - (720) 913-STOP. To be eligible for the $2,000 award and to remain anonymous, tipsters must call the tip line. Callers can remain anonymous. The tip line is answered 24 hours a day - 7 days a week, police said.
