Denver Police Seek Shooter In Homicide

Elijah Jeremiah Sandoval-Baltierra​, 23, was shot Oct. 5 in the 1400 block of Lipan Street and later died.

DENVER, CO – Police are seeking information about a Denver homicide.

Elijah Jeremiah Sandoval-Baltierra, 23, was shot Oct. 5 around 7:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of Lipan Street. He was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Sandoval-Baltierra died of his injuries on Oct. 10, according to his funeral notice.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) who shot Sandoval-Baltierra.

Anyone with information is asked to call 720-913-7867 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). Callers to the Crime Stoppers tip line may be able to remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000. The tip line is answered 14 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A family-member started a GoFundMe site to help pay for funeral expenses. Elijah "was taken from us in a senseless act of violence," wrote Santos Valtierra. "We would also like to take the time to send our condolences to all family's who have also lost a loved one to a homicide."
