Denver Sees Coldest Temperature On This Date In 90 Years: Report
Brrr! The Denver area hasn't seen temperatures this low on this date in nearly a century.
DENVER, CO — Denver has seen some pretty cold temperatures, but not this cold.
Temperatures plunged to 7 degrees below zero in Denver on Thursday morning, KDVR-TV reported. That smashed the previous record for March 10 of 3 degrees below zero set in 1932, according to the National Weather Service.
The teeth-chattering cold comes as the weather service issued another hazardous weather outlook, warning of scattered light snow showers and bitterly cold temperatures lingering over the area Thursday.

"Any additional accumulation will be very light," the weather service said. "Roads will still be icy and slick in some areas this morning."
From Friday through Wednesday, drier conditions were expected through next week across the region, though a slight chance of flurries was possible for the high country Sunday evening.
