Denver Strip Clubs Sued For Using Celebrity Images

A lawyer for Carmen Electra and Jaime Longoria said two Denver clubs used images illegally.

DENVER, CO – Two Denver strip clubs were sued by female celebrities for using images without permission to promote their clubs. Actress Carmen Electra and Miami Dolphin Cheerleader Jaime Longoria sued two separate clubs Friday in U.S. District Court in Denver last week. Englewood lawyer Steven Greenlee is the attorney in both suits.

L.A.-based Actress Carmen Electra, referred to as an "internationally known iconic and recognizable talent, actress, model, television personality, and businesswoman," alleges that The Players Club used her likeness without permission on social media and other promotional material to make it appear that she was somehow affiliated with the club.

"Carmen Electra is not employed by Players Club, she does not strip or dance at Players Club, she does not affiliate herself in any way with Players Club or endorse its promotional activities and events, and she never has," the suit says.

The lawsuits are both seeking monetary damages for potentially injuring the two women's reputations.
