- The first affordable housing project for Native Americans is set to open in Denver. An apartment building featuring a circular design with symbolic significance include 187 units, along with an Indian Health Services clinic and other culturally appropriate programming. (CO Sun)
- When the pandemic hit, home prices shot up, and Denver's home values have tripled since 2000. That means your property taxes have gone up too. Real estate brokerage Clever service checked back on the data since 2000 and found that home prices have more than tripled in Denver over the last 20 years. The data also showed that in 2023, home prices in most major U.S. cities have been flat over the past 12 months. (FOX31)
- Homeless man sleeping in tent near I-25 hit by suspected DUI driver. Last Saturday morning, a suspected DUI driver veered off the road and hit a man that was sleeping in a tent on the side of I-25 near 136th Avenue, causing him serious injuries. (Gazette)
- As Utah considers a gondola solution, Colorado continues to grapple with resolving traffic problems on I-70. Utah is exploring a unique solution to address ski traffic congestion by considering the construction of the world's longest gondola. The proposed 8-mile line would stretch from the outskirts of Salt Lake City to Snowbird and Alta ski resorts up in Little Cottonwood Canyon. (Axios)
