Firefighters Battle Denver Blaze At Site Of 2018 Explosions
At the very same building, explosions rocked the neighborhood in August.
DENVER, CO — Firefighters were on the job Friday morning to extinguish a blaze in a Denver building which was the site of an explosion that injured nine in 2018. No injuries are reported this time at the building on Santa Fe Drive, but firefighters have lots of work to do.
Much of the fire has been doused, but finishing the job "will take time as fire is hidden in pockets and voids," the Denver Fire Department tweeted Friday morning.
DFD crew's working to extinguish the final areas of fire at 374 Santa Fe Dr. This will take time as fire is hidden in pockets & voids. No injuries were reported. Avoid the area.
