- Flash flooding hits areas around metro Denver. Another intense deluge on Monday afternoon, a caused flash flooding in various areas of the metro area. Within an hour or even less, certain locations experienced rainfall exceeding an inch, resulting in numerous instances of flash flooding. The south and west sides of the metro area were particularly affected, with reports of flooding in Arvada, Lakewood, Edgewater, Littleton, Englewood, east Denver, and the southwest side of Denver including Bow Mar. (9News)
- New master plan in the works for 150-acre Auraria campus. Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) has officially appointed Sasaki, an acclaimed global design firm, to spearhead the highly anticipated 2023 Auraria Campus Master Plan project. The decision comes after careful consideration by the campus' Master Plan Steering Committee. (AHEC)
- Just when you thought it was safe to buy again. Denver metro housing prices still going up after a year of decline. According to the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, the cost of housing in the Denver metro area is once again soaring to unprecedented heights, largely due to an ongoing scarcity of available residential properties. - CHAC is returning to Santa Fe Art District after a stint in Lakewood. The Chicano Humanities and Arts District (CHAC) is relocating from Lakewood's 40 West Art District, to a permanent home in the Art District on Santa Fe Drive. Kyle Schneider is donating his mom's gallery to the nonprofit. (Denverite)
