- According to a recent study, the removal of homeless encampments is associated with a reduction in life expectancy. On Monday, a study was published in The Journal of the American Medical Association, that reveals that ongoing encampment sweeps in Denver have resulted in the deaths of some of the recognized individuals over the years, and that this policy could potentially cause more deaths in the next decade. - Denver has more money for businesses impacted by COVID-19. Small businesses in Denver will be able to access a fresh round of COVID-19 relief funding, thanks to City Council's decision to allocate an additional $5 million in federal funds to the pandemic relief program.
