DENVER, CO — More than 4,100 coronavirus outbreaks have been reported in Colorado since the pandemic began, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

The number of stores and restaurants reporting outbreaks in Denver's metro area has declined over the past several weeks, according to state public health data.

Denver stores and restaurants have strict cleaning procedures and coronavirus safety measures in place; however, some businesses are dealing with ongoing outbreaks, some of which have lasted months since they were first detected.
