  1. Denver is seeking landlords who are willing to transform their office spaces into housing. The City of Denver has allocated $75,000 as part of its 2023 budget to conduct a study that will evaluate the feasibility of converting downtown office buildings into residential units. The study is expected to be finished by the end of the year. (9News)
  2. Colorado seeing a surge of hit-and-runs across the state, including in Denver. Colorado is currently experiencing a historic surge in the number of fatal crashes and fatalities resulting from them.   3. Kelly Brough, Mayoral candidate, says her partner has been influencing city politics as a lobbyist for decades. Brough, the former CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, revealed that she has been in a relationship with Kenney for approximately 10 years. David Kenney is a prominent political consultant and lobbyist who represents some of the biggest developers in Denver, and one client, Cal Fulenwider III, is a major donor to an independent expenditure committee that supports Brough for mayor.
