- DAM severs relationship with a longtime volunteer after discovering her connections to an indicted arts dealer. The Denver Art Museum disclosed that a museum volunteer, Emma Bunker, collaborated with an indicted art dealer to deceive the museum into acquiring unlawfully obtained and illegally traded art. (9News)
- Leaders in Colorado are urging President Joe Biden to keep the U.S. Space Command in the state. Leaders from both major political parties are advocating to retain the U.S. Space Command in the Colorado and have sent another letter to President Joe Biden this week. The letter, endorsed by Gov. Jared Polis, both Colorado senators, seven of the state's eight representatives in the U.S. Congress, and officials from both parties in the Colorado General Assembly, urges Biden to keep Space Command in Colorado. - Among the leading donors in the Denver mayoral race are state lawmakers and lobbyists. Contenders in the 17-person race to replace Mayor Michael Hancock for his third term submitted another set of reports on their campaign finances. The leading fundraisers have gained access to the well-connected and financially resourceful network of political insiders and business executives — enabling their campaigns to maintain a substantial lead in fundraising for the Denver mayoral race. - In preparation for St. Patrick's Day, Downtown's Blake Street has been renamed Tooley Street. Preparations for St. Patrick's Day celebrations are underway throughout Denver. Early on Thursday morning, Blake Street was renamed Tooley Street in honor of the late Denver District Attorney Dale Tooley, who passed away in 1985. (CBS4)
- At the request of the tribal government, the federal board has postponed the vote to rename Mount Evans. The vote on changing the contentious name of a 14,000-foot peak located west of Denver is being delayed due to a "consultation" request from a yet to be identified tribal government. (CO Sun)
