- The renowned pizza joint, Beau Jo's, is being sold after 50 years. Chip Bair, the owner, has expressed his desire for employee ownership in hopes of safeguarding the pizzeria's heritage and announced that he'll sell the legendary restaurant to his employees. (CO Sun)
- Pedestrian hit, killed by RTD train to the plane on Sunday. According to the Denver Police, the A Line train struck and fatally injured a pedestrian near the junction of Smith Road and Monaco Street Parkway on Sunday. (9News)
- A proposed Colorado bill seeks to eliminate municipal growth limits. The legislation, as proposed, would remove growth restrictions in cities such as Boulder, Lakewood, and Golden. (CO Newsline)
- Efforts are being made to preserve 3.3 million acres of private property in Colorado from development. Keep It Colorado has set a goal of conserving 3.3 million acres of private land within a decade. That is equivalent to the amount of private land protected from development since 1965. The "Conserving Colorado" plan was developed over 18 months with funding of $300,000 provided by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, and Great Outdoors Colorado.
