Playa Bowls Set To Open 2nd Colorado Spot In Denver
The superfruit bowl shop is set to open Thursday on South Broadway.

DENVER, CO — For those who are looking for a healthy food option in this fall, Playa Bowls is set to open its second Colorado shop in Denver, owners announced.
The New Jersey-based super fruit açai bowl shop is set to open its doors Thursday at 99 South Broadway, Suite 115.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the new Denver shop, with free T-shirts and bowls for the first 50 customers, franchisees Robert Wissing and Codi Benisch said.

The local entrepreneurs opened their first Playa Bowls shop in Littleton in January.
“The Littleton community embraced our first Colorado location of Playa Bowls with open arms, so we’re excited to bring this delicious concept to the culinary capital of Colorado - Denver!” Benisch said.

The shop will serve smoothies, coconut bowls, pitaya and other fruity combinations. Playa Bowls can be made vegan, gluten free, and can be adapted to integrate into Whole 30, Keto and Paleo diets, the franchise said.
Benisch, originally from New Jersey, attended college in Colorado and met Wissing, and both decided to open the franchise.
Playa Bowls has opened more than 120 shops in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The Littleton location was the franchise's first western spot.
