President Biden Set To Visit Denver In Western Tour

DENVER, CO — President Joe Biden is set to make a stop in Denver on Tuesday as part of a western trip that also includes stops in California and Idaho.

The president is scheduled to speak about his Build Back Better economic plan, which Denver Mayor Michael Hancock supports.

"In Colorado, the president will speak directly to the importance of the Build Back Better agenda and the impacts that would be felt throughout local communities," said Jen Psaki, White House press secretary, in a Thursday briefing.

Hancock is calling on congress to pass Biden's Build Back Better infrastructure bill, which aims to expand Medicare, battle climate change and invest in social programs.

Biden is also scheduled to make stops Tuesday in Boise, Idaho and Sacramento, California to survey wildfire damage and speak about his economic plan.
