- Downtown Denver descends into chaos after the Nuggets' Championship parade. During the Denver Nuggets' championship victory parade, the celebration turned chaotic when a shooting took place near 17th and Curtis Streets. Two individuals were injured and are currently in serious condition at a nearby hospital. Additionally, a police officer was struck by a fire truck carrying Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. - Denver is one of the top 10 real estate markets in the U.S. According to a recent report, Denver has emerged as one of the top-performing cities in real estate development. With impressive growth in multi-family, commercial, and single-family properties, Denver secured the ninth position for overall real estate activity, including construction in sectors such as self storage, office, retail, and industrial. - Brothers killed in road rage incident on I-25. The two victims of a fatal road rage shooting have been identified. The tragic incident claimed the lives of 21-year-old Blake Lucas and 22-year-old Damon Lucas, who were en route to a job interview. The Denver police reported that the incident occurred between West 6th and West 8th avenues around 3 p.m. (9News)
- Colorado homeowners are bracing for increased insurance premiums this year. With the second highest number of hail claims and the third highest wildfire risk in the nation, Colorado is quickly seeing a significant increase in insurance rates, and homes that are underinsured. This was particularly evident among the survivors of the Marshall Fire, as nearly all of them were inadequately insured. (CBS4)
