  1. Denver mayoral race sees Mike Johnston ahead in early vote count. Johnston, a former state senator, has emerged as the frontrunner in the mayoral race with approximately 25 percent of the votes in the latest count. Kelly Brough, the former Metro Chamber of Commerce president, is in second place with 22 percent of the votes. Check out all the results of Tuesday's municipal election here. (CBS4)
  2. Aircraft carrying the First Lady rerouted back to Denver after windshield crack. First Lady Jill Biden's flight was diverted to Denver on her way to Michigan. The plane, operated by the Air Force's 89th Airlift Wing, was redirected back to Denver International Airport on Monday due to a cracked windshield. (Patch)
  3. Community is ready to move on from Suncor's refinery in Commerce City. On March 30, residents of Commerce City came together to envision a future for their city without the presence of the infamous Suncor oil refinery. The refinery has long been notorious for causing air and water pollution through chemical leaks. (Westword)
  4. Denver voters beat back plan to develop land that used to be Park Hill Golf Course. Voters appear to have defeated the Referred Question 2O, which will preserve the Perpetual Conservation Easement on the land that was used to be the Park Hill Golf Course. The vote casts aside a plan to develop it by Westside Investment Partners. (9News)
